Journals: 250-500 word summaries/discussions of assigned readings, or responses to questions provided in the assignment. These are to be posted under ‘my journal’ in the window provided (I prefer no attachments). Late work will have points deducted.
Blog Comments: Briefly respond to the question provided.
Guest Blog: Each student will be assigned a week to serve as ‘guest blogger’ by submitting a short summary of an assigned text along with a discussion question. These will be submitted to the instructor and, after approval, published on the website. Other students are expected to comment on the blog post. Mid-Term Paper: Respond to four questions at home, in writing, pertaining to the first half of the course.
Final Paper: 6-8 pages, detailed description of assignment handed out in class on the day of the mid-term.
Class Participation: Students are expected to attend and engage the discussions and activities of class, demonstrating familiarity with materials.Instructions
